Tripoli, 6 May:
The first Libyan Airlines passenger flight arrived yesterday afternoon, 5 May, at Ghadames airport from Tripoli International Airport, marking . . .[restrict]the official reopening of the airport after being closed for more than a year because of extensive damage during Libya’s revolution.
A celebration was held at the airport to mark the occasion attended by the Minister of Transport Yousef Waheshy and Minister of Economy Ahmed Koshly as well as other dignitaries.
Sources at Libyan Airlines confirmed that there will be two flights a week from Tripoli to Ghadames. [/restrict]
