By Maha Ellawati.

Benghazi, 13 July 2013:

A violent outbreak between two feuding families in Benghazi’s Al-Jalah hospital has sparked an angry protest . . .[restrict]from medical staff, closing the premises until further notice.

Two injured men were brought to Al-Jalah hospital following a fight in the city last week. When families of the patients came visiting at the same time, violence broke out in the hospital itself, damaging medical equipment.

This is the latest incident in a stream of violence at the hospital. Earlier in the year a man was murdered while undergoing surgery, after which doctors staged a walk-out protest. [/restrict]
