Tripoli, 9 April 2014:
Protesters in Zawia last night blockaded roads with burning tyres and attacked the offices of . . .[restrict]the local council, setting them ablaze.
The anti-GNC and Muslim Brotherhood protesters first closed main roads in the town centre before marching to the local council. The offices were vandalised and then set on fire.
Local police and security forces did not attempt to intervene, according to local reports. [/restrict]
