Member of Libyan Army assassinated in Benghazi

Benghazi, 15 September 2014:

A member of the Libyan Army was assassinated by unidentified gunmen in the Al-Thama area . . .[restrict]of Benghazi on Sunday evening.

The victim, Abdul Monaim Ferjana, was taken to Benghazi Medical Center after sustaining multiple bullet wounds. He was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The reason for the killing is unknown, though it is assumed to have been politically motivated.
