Tripoli, April 1: Earth Hour was marked on . . .[restrict]Saturday evening with events at the Castle Museum and adjoining Martyrs’ Square – the site where thousands of men, women, and children celebrated the end of the Qaddafi regime.

Benghazi also took part.  With the help of the local scout team, lights were turned off at Al-Daawa Al-Islamiya building, Tibesti Hotel and in Al-Keish Square.

The event was organised by nineteen-year-old Mohammad Nattah and Muhammad Bugashata. [/restrict]
