Tripoli, 10 September:
The Libyan French-Health Society (LFHS) . . .[restrict]will be launched on 13 September at the 9th Libyan Healthcare exhibition.
The two-hour event, at the Omar El Moukhtar Hall of the Tripoli International Fairground, will include welcomes from the Minister of Health, Fatima Hamroush, and the French Ambassador, Antoine Sivan. These will be followed by presentations on the LFHS and a question and answer session.
The LFHS is a non-profit-making organisation, which aims to identify and quantify the health needs and requirements of Libyan institutions, in both the government and private sectors.
The society will promote French expertise in the healthcare, including medical centres, laboratories and suppliers. The plan is to bring French solutions through local partnerships.
The ambition is to assist in the reorganisation of the Libyan healthcare system. LFHS members will offer their experience and expertise to a wide range of local medical professionals, including pharmacists, nurses, doctors and consultants. [/restrict]
