Tripoli, 10 December:
The Nafusa Mountains Elders Council held a meeting on Saturday with the Alqintrar Elders Council of the town of . . .[restrict]Mizdah to discuss securing the return of services within the town and the activation of security services.

The Nafusa elders have been working to reduce the number of shootings in the area, which have led to a number of serious injuries and fatalities of innocent civilians. Car jackings and other criminal activity have been an added problem plaguing the troubled town.

In addition to meeting with the Al-Qantrar, the Nafusa elders council has also been meeting with the Mashashia elders in the past few days, to try and resolve tensions between the two groups, following clashes that are reported to have occurred in the past few weeks.
