Tripoli, 8 January 2013:
The three Libyan students at a police officer training academy in Istanbul who died from carbon monoxide . . .[restrict]poisoning did not die at the training centre, Turkish officials have disclosed. The tragedy occured at a house in Istanbul’s Aksary district which they had recently rented, unbeknown to academy staff.
The three, named as Ramzi Salim Gadmour, Abuminyar Imbarek Al-Qaddafi and Salem Mohamed Mansour, were noted as missing from a training course on 31 December. Their bodies were found on 2nd January.
An investigation into the circumstances of their deaths has began. When complete its findings will been passed on to the Interior Ministry, Turkish officials have said. [/restrict]
