Misrata’s Theatre Hall this weekend hosted the city’s second Body Building International Tournament, in which 21 . . .[restrict]contestants from Egypt and Jordan as well as Libya, showed off their glistening torsos to a multinational panel of judges.
The competition was watched by a large audience which included Mohamed Fitouri Sualim, the minister of Labour and Retraining. The guest of honour was former US champion, Fred Smiley.
Omar Musbah Miloud, , one of the 16 Libyan body builders taking part from Tripoli and Benghazi, as well as Misrata, only managed to secure the runner up position, with the overall prize going to Ahmed Naji Saafeen from Jordan. Another Jordanian, Hani Abdul-Latif Najjar secured third place. [/restrict]
