Tripoli protests spark petrol panic-buying

The country’s recent protests have sparked panic-buying of fuel across the capital, with hundreds of cars queueing to fill their tanks.

Three lanes of traffic had been brought almost to a standstill outside the Al-Hadba Al Sharghiya petrol station on the road to Salah Al-Din this morning. The road was being blocked . . .
