The official working hours during the month of Ramadan this year will be from 9 am to 2 . . .[restrict]pm, the government has announced.
These working hours apply to public sector jobs in particular.
Ramadan starts tomorrow or Wednesday and will continue for around 30 days.
At yesterdays’s press conference Prime Minister Ali Zeidan wished all Libyans a happy Ramadan. He said he hoped this year’s holy month would be one of harmony and that the spirit of Ramadan would help to spread goodwill and reconciliation among Libyans. [/restrict]
