Tripoli, 26 October 2013:

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), an international project designed to introduce young people to ideas about entrepreneurship, will be . . .[restrict]held in Libya for the first time in November.

Through activities such as competitions and networking events with potential mentors, collaborators and investors, GEW is a global scheme designed to inspire and encourage people to explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. It also aims to introduce young people to new possibilities and experiences.

This year’s GEW will be held from 18 to 24 November and Qatari-based Silatech, an organisation which supports young entrepreneurs, will be hosting GEW in Libya, in collaboration with the Libyan Bokra Organisation. Events will be held in several towns and cities across the country, although further details have yet to be released.

Libya is one of 120 countries participating in this year’s GEW.
