Benghazi, 30 December 2013:
One man lost his hand while another escaped injury in two separate attacks in Benghazi today.
A . . .[restrict]bomb beneath the vehicle of a Free Libya Martyrs Battalion commander, Nasir Magasbi, exploded in the Sabri area of the city. Though Magasbi, a leading figure in the Revolution, survived the blast, he lost a hand. He was flown out of the country for treatment.
In a second attack, gunmen in a vehicle opened fire on a passport official in the Assalam district. Rajab Mohamed Edris was unhurt in the fusillade from his assailants, who then sped away.
