Emergency medical equipment to help those injured in recent tribal clashes has been sent to Sebha by the Ministry . . .[restrict]of Health.

Two ambulances, two vehicles able to carry intensive care patients and the equipment for an emergency field hospital have been provided after the Ministry set up a crisis committee to support the Sebha medical services, according to Libyan news agency LANA.

The committee has been co-ordinating with local medical staff to establish what support is needed, including for the transfer of critically-injured patients to hospitals in Benghazi, Tobruk and Tripoli.

The Ministry of Health said that, according to medical sources in Sebha, 31 people have been killed and 65 wounded in the clashes. Four of these remain in intensive care. [/restrict]
