Tripoli, 19 January 2014:

An international seminar on “managing and conserving historic cities in Libya” was held yesterday at the Centre for Libyan Archives and Historical Studies in Tripoli, the organisers report.

The event was organized by the Italian Cultural Institute (Tripoli), the Libya Board of Architecture (LBA), the Italian National Architecture Council (CNAPPC) and the Foundation of Tripolitanian Heritage.

The exhibition on”Libyan Rationalism” was also opened.

This event was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Libya, The City Council of Tripoli, the Management Authority of Historic Cities and under the auspices of UNESCO.
