Tripoli, 26 February 2014:
The Ras Jedir crossing on the Tunisian border reopened this morning after an overnight closure sparked . . .[restrict]by a disagreement between border guards.
A member of the Libyan border police told the Libya Herald that the dispute came after a Libyan smuggler was helped to cross into Tunisia by Libyan border officials. He had apparently been prevented from crossing legally earlier in the day.
The border crossing briefly opened after the incident but was then closed again on the Tunsian side, only reopening this morning. [/restrict]
