The southern tour of NDPC follows what it says has been  a successful tour in the east and west of the country, with 20 events held in different towns and cities, including Tripoli, and in which people had the opportunity to discus the drafting of the National Charter on dialogue.  The round nation tour started at the beginning of the month in Tobruk.

The 15-member preparatory commission is responsible for the preparation and delivery of the National Dialogue. The advisory team, with 72 people selected from different section of society, are non-aligned to any political parties or specific factions.

Fadeel Lameen , NDPC chairman , says that the upcoming events in the south, by ensuring the inclusion of an important geographical area of Libya, are vital in helping build consensus among Libyans, with people in the region being able to discuss vital issues in a non-confrontational and constructive environment.  [/restrict]
