Tripoli, 8 March 2014:
A tree-planting campaign was launched the Tripoli suburb of . . .[restrict]Suq Al-Juma yesterday. The initiative, sponsored by the mobile phone company Libyan, is the brainchild of the Friends of the Tree Association, and is being carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture. It is also supported by a number of other bodies, including Tripoli Local Council.
A small ceremony was held for the occasion on the Corniche and volunteers are being asked to join in the planting campaign which begins today in schools and public spaces?. [/restrict]
