One hundred Libyan students will have the opportunity to study in Italy on scholarship. According . . .[restrict]to the Italian Cultural Institute in Tripoli the scholarships will be available for Libyans aged 18 to 35. However, in the case of teachers of Italian as a second language, they can be up to 45-years old.
Prospective students have to submit applications online to study for undergraduate or postgraduate degrees, advanced vocational training, art or music courses, Italian-language courses and courses for teachers of the Italian language. Scholarships can be awarded only for study/research projects at institutions within the Italian public education and research system (state universities and research centres or legally accredited private institutions).
A good knowledge of Italian is an essential prerequisite to a successful application for a scholarship. Candidates enrolling in courses taught in Italian should have a Level B 2 or Intermediate certification.? Applicants for courses taught in English are required a Level A2 proficiency in Italian. The online application can be found at http://borseonline.esteri.it. The deadline for applications is 12:00 pm (Italian time) on 28 May 2014.
Scholarships are for study January-December 2015, with the potential of annual renewal.
