:

Neighbours on Benghazi’s Triq Al-Nahar in Hawari district blockaded the road with burning tyres this evening after . . .[restrict]gunmen killed a local resident and his four-year-old son shortly before sunset.

Ibrahim Abdullah Ben Gharbia, 42, who used to work at Benina airbase, had been out to buy bread with his son and daughter to break the fast and was driving home when the killers struck. Both he and his son died instantly.

As usual, no one has claimed responsibility and with little chance of the culprits ever being found and brought to justice, father and son appear destined to become another statistic in Benghazi’s unending saga of bloodshed. [/restrict]
