Jamal Adel.

Kufra, 24 November 2014:

The National Commission for Human Rights in Libya has welcomed the UN’s ruling that Ansar Al-Sharia in . . .[restrict]both Derna and Benghazi are terrorist organisations.

The NCHRL told the Libya Herald that it believed the decision reflected the general view in Libya that Ansar  had committed war crimes and crimes against humanity.

It praised the mediation efforts of UNSML chief Bernardino Leon and urged the UN to sanction all who lent financial, political or media support to any part of the Ansar operations. [/restrict]
