Tripoli, 9 November 2015:

The Prime Minister Abdullah Al-Thinni, has flown to the UAE for the Dubai Air Show. . . .[restrict]He arrived yesterday accompanied by by the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan armed forces, Major-General Abdul Razak Al-Nazhuri, and a small team.

“It is a working visit,” said Aref Nayed, Libya’s ambassador to the UAE who accompanied Thinni and Nazhuri to the five-day show. It started on Sunday and is now one of the most important air shows in the world; today saw orders worth almost $30 billion agreed.

Thinni today met Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, the UAE’s deputy prime minister, and he and Nazhuri are have also been holding discussions with various exhibitors as well as with numerous international poliitical figures also in Dubai for the air show.
