A campaign to ??vaccinate 1,300 students in Ghat municipality started this morning wtth those at the . . .[restrict]Birkat Careers Higher Institute being inocculated. Other schools are eductional facilities will be visited tomorrow. The campaign will move on Tuesday and Wednesday to Thala and Owaynat.
Ghat director of health care Ramadan Al-Itni admitted that it had been a bit late providing vaccinations to student but it had been felt that it had to be done comprehensively with a properly trained team. If it were done piecemeal some children might not have been able to access the programme.
It covers meningitis, polio and a number of other inoculable diseases. [/restrict]
