Benghazi, 27 June 2016:

The trussed-up body of a doctor was found this evening in his Kufra apartment just after evening prayers. He had been beaten around the head and apparently shot.

Nasreddin Al-Sudani, aged 56, had reportedly been working for many years at Kufra General Hospital. He was a Sudanese national who lived near the Korean Buildings in the town. His hands and feet had been tied.

An investigation has begun but at the moment there is no clear motive for the murder.
