Germany’s MAN Trucks manufacturer in talks with Libya to restart assembly line

The Presidency Council’s Government of National Accord’s (PC/GNA) Economy Minister, Naser Drisi, together with the Libyan National Trailers Company, met with representatives of German truck and bus manufacturer MAN in Tunis last week.

GNA sources reported that initial agreement was reached between the Germans and Libyans to restart the Libyan truck and trailer assembly plant in Tajura. The parties also agreed that a feasibility study would be conducted into the possibility of establishing some sort of partnership or joint venture between the two entities for MAN . . .
