London, 7 November 2019:

Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported yesterday that its wholly owned subsidiary, Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO), has successfully increased production its Sarir oilfield.

It reported that maintenance to AGOCO’s well C-158 has increased production by 93 percent, from a pre-maintenance production rate of 400 barrels per day, to 772 barrels per day.

The NOC reminded that this production increase is part of its overall strategy to increase Libya’s oil production which was recently backed by an exceptional budget from the Tripoli-based Faiez Serraj government.
