Libya’s Coronavirus cases pass 50,000 mark

Libya’s Coronavirus cases have passed the 50,000 mark (Graph: OCHA).

London, 20 October 2020:

Libya’s Coronavirus cases passed the 50,000 mark yesterday by 960 cases, Libya’s National Centre for Disease Control Centre (NCDC) reported.

Yesterday, there were 957 new cases, and 14 deaths out of 2,824 samples. These bring the total recovered cases to 27,832, active cases to 22,328 and deaths to 746.

Libya has reported an average of 1,000 cases per day over the last period.
