Tripoli Chamber of Commerce signed a Letter of Intent with Indonesia’s SME entity, SMESCO to activate joint action.
The agreement, signed at the Tripoli Chamber’s Tripoli headquarters on Monday (25 January), entails developing communications and building business capacity between the two. Tripoli Chamber reported that this was the second meeting between the two entities following the signing of a previous agreement which included cooperation with Jakarta Chamber of Commerce.
The agreement between the two entails:
1 – Strengthening SME commercial and technical cooperation through exhibitions, economic conferences and through all available means for the target products in both countries
2- Strengthening SME capabilities through potential cooperation projects to support the two countries commercially and economically and support investment through cooperation with other institutions from Indonesia and Libya.
3- Promoting activities to be held by SMESCO and the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce in relation to supporting and strengthening SMEs.
4- Create any other areas of cooperation provided that they do not violate the laws and regulations of the two countries.
5- Work to prepare a comprehensive, sustainable and more detailed agreement.
