Eighth Libyan Dates and Associated Industries exhibition opens in Tripoli

London, 9 April 2021:

The Eighth Libya International Exhibition for Dates and Associated Industries opened at the Tripoli Fairgrounds yesterday running until 11 April.

The exhibition included concurrently the Sixth Olives and Olive Oil Exhibition and the Fifth Festival of Honey and Bee Products.

The exhibition was opened by the Minister of Economy and Trade, the Minister of Industry and Minerals, the Minister of State for Economic Affairs, the Maltese Minister of Finance, the Tunisian Ambassador and Consul and the Ambassador of the Philippines to Libya

The event showcased 100 exhibitors, including 17 Tunisian exhibitors and more than 40 Tunisian business leaders.

This participation of Tunisian companies come as part of the coordination between the LEPC and the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) following a visit to Tunisia last March by the LEPC to its Tunisian counterpart. The visit had come in the framework of activating cooperation and trade exchanges between the two countries.
