London, 29 May 2021:

The head of Libya’s General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Raeid, met the Spanish Ambassador to Libya, Javier Garcia-Larrache on Thursday at the Chamber’s Tripoli headquarters.

The meeting discussed ways to support the political process in Libya and the important role that Spain can play to enhance stability, in addition to the resumption of cooperation projects between the two countries and the facilitation of travel procedures for Libyans, especially businessmen.

Raeid commented: ” Such successive international visits would strengthen stability in Libya, and we consider this as a positive sign for the resumption of international cooperation between Libya and other countries. Spain has experience in various technical and industrial fields which we hope to benefit from in Libya”.
