Libyan prime minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba joined U.S. Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya Richard Norden in a business roundtable held in Tripoli today by the American Chamber of Commerce-Libya (AmCham Libya) which included several U.S. companies.

Commenting on the event, Norland said ‘‘Today’s roundtable with AmCham (Libya) was an opportunity to understand how American companies can partner with Libyan firms and create additional economic opportunities for Libyans.’’

Norland said that ‘‘the American companies represented (at the roundtable) today employ thousands of Libyans in many sectors including energy, construction, and financial services.’’
