Ministry of Industry discusses creation of technology and industry hub with Renewable Energy Centre

The Ministry of Industry is discussing the creation of a technological industrial hub (Logo: Ministry of Industry and Minerals)

London, 13 August 2021:

Libya’s Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abuhisa, discussed with the head of the Renewable Energy Centre yesterday the establishment of an advanced technological industrial hub in Libya.

During the meeting, the Industry Ministry reported, prospects for cooperation and benefiting from the country’s great potential in the field of renewable energies were discussed, and a presentation was made by the Renewable Energy Centre stressing the importance of employing renewable energies in industry and reviewing the current and future promising prospects for it.

It was also agreed to study several proposals to choose the most appropriate one to support innovation and leadership in the field of renewable energies and the mechanism for its implementation to ensure access to the best international practices and experiences.
