London, 1 September 2021:

A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Libyan Ports Company (LPC) on Monday with the German-Swiss Liebherr company specialised in ports equipment.

The LPC said the meeting came within the framework of its Handling and Storage Department’s follow-up on the development of equipment and mechanisms operating in the ports, and work on the technical problems that arise from time to time.

The meeting aimed at Liebherr providing technical advice to remove some difficulties and obstacles and define an approved mechanism for requesting spare parts and providing them without delay.
