CBL meets Banque de France in Paris to discuss microfinance best practice

The EU4PSL / Expertise France organised a visit to the Banque de France in Paris for the CBL to discuss microfinance best practice (Logos: EU4PSL / Expertise France).

Tripoli, 23 October 2021:

Representatives of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) met their counterparts from the Banque de France in Paris last week in order to learn about the best practices used in the promotion and management of microfinance in France, Expertise France / the EU for the Private Sector in Libya (EU4PSL) reported today.

The Central Bank of Libya team also met with the Adie Association, Mr. Antonios Tsamoulis, Cooperation Officer of Economic, Private Sector and Trade Development of the European Union Delegation in Libya, Mr. Jérémie Pellet, General Director of Expertise France, and Mr. Julien Schmitt, Director of Programmes Implemented in Libya by Expertise France to discuss the ongoing support of the EU4PSL programme for the Central Bank of Libya in various economic fields and to determine the priorities for action in the next phase in order to enhance cooperation and to further support the private sector in Libya.
