The Municipality of Hay Al-Andalus started installing QR code panels on commercial units within its district on Saturday.
Inaugurating the process, the mayor of the municipality said that the owners of commercial activities will benefit from this system, as all procedures for issuing licenses and renewing documents for activities will be facilitated quickly and easily through the website.
He said that a direct channel of communication is opened between the owners of commercial activities and the municipality administration through this system.
He also said he hoped that all the owners of commercial activities will register in the system during the current month, so that the municipality can start the other phases of the digitalisation project.
