At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting held in the Western Nefusa Mountain town of Jadu, Tripoli-based Libyan Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, agreed to the payment of Libya’s US$ 74 million debt to the Tunisian state electricity and gas company STEG (Société tunisienne de l’électricité et du gaz – STEG).

The money is for electricity supplied through the three-way electricity connection between Libya, Tunisia and Algeria.
