Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its sincere thanks and gratitude yesterday to the Spanish Embassy in Libya, for ‘‘the solidarity and cooperation of His Excellency Ambassador Javier Larache on his great and exceptional efforts and his contribution to making facilities and issuing visas, for several wounded and injured Libyans who were injured as a result of the explosion of a fuel tanker in the municipality of Bint Baya.’’

The Spanish cooperation ‘‘will help in transferring them for treatment abroad in Spanish hospitals quickly, and this comes in full coordination with His Excellency the Libyan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Walid Abu Abdullah, thanking him for the good cooperation.

In this situation, we cannot but renew our thanks to the Kingdom of Spain, the leadership and people for standing permanently with the Libyan people’’.
