A delegation from the Libya Post Company visited the French Postal Corporation, Libya Post reported Wednesday.

The delegation consisted of the chairman of Libya Post, a member of the board and an engineer in charge of technical development.

Libya Post reported that French Post is ranked as the fourth best government postal system in the world, according to the 2021 report issued by the Universal Postal Union.

Transferring successful experiences to Libya Post
The Libyan delegation held meetings with several officials and managers of the French Post. It also conducted several field tours to operations centres and models of post offices in France. The latest technologies used in the field of mail were reviewed, and the most important and prominent services provided in the field by French Post were discussed. The extent of benefiting from these successful experiences and transferring them to the Libya Post Company were also deliberated.

Agreement on technical and development cooperation
It was agreed to cooperate in several areas, the most important of which is the provision of advice and support in the field of development and technology.
