By Libya Herald reporters.

Benghazi, 27 July 2017:

The Libyan National Army (LNA) claimed today that the surviving militants in Benghazi’s Sidi Akribesh area are wearing suicide vests.

A Saiqa Special Forces spokesman said that the militants had now been confined to a single building which contained a butchers, a shoe store and a coffee shop.

“Most of the terrorist elements trapped in the area” said the spokesman, “are wearing explosive belts for fear of being caught alive because of the lack of space between us and them”.
