Caroline Hurndall appointed as new UK ambassador to Libya

Caroline Hurndall will be taking over from Nicholas Hopton as the new British Ambassador to Libya from September this year (Photo: FCO).

London, 6 August 2021:

Caroline Hurndall has been appointed as the new UK Ambassador to Libya in succession to Nicholas Hopton, the UK Foreign Office announced yesterday.

She will take up her appointment in September.
