Militiamen have beaten up a Tripoli university professor who is reported to have refused to go on TV and condemn Operation Dignity.
Dr Fadil Ahmed Azzabi was attacked after gunmen, said to be from a Libya Dawn militia, broke into his home today. According to a family member, the assailants accused him of treason and swore and cursed as they knocked him about.
