Libya’s Emergency Medicine and Support Centre (EMSC) announced a multifaceted workshop will be conducted by a visiting medical team from Spain today at the Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Tripoli. The workshop will be on:
  1. Medical evaluation and patient preparation before and after the operation, preoperative assessment.
  2. Tissue expansion
  3. Tendon transplantation and transfer
  4. Dealing with painful shoulder pain
  5. Degenerative lumbar spine disease (surgical treatment)
The EMSC said the workshop targets doctors specializing in orthopaedics, general surgery, burns, plastic surgery, brain, neurosurgery, and spine surgery. It will give attendees the opportunity to communicate with the best doctors and consultants in these fields, it added.
